HAPPY INDEPENDENCE AND MAY OUR OPPRESSORS NEVER KNOW PEACE - BY OJEKUNLE OLABISI

Happy Independence day to all true who is a perfect example of who we are as a Nation, not what Pres. Buhari painted us to be, dutiful civil servants, industrious fuel attendants, young fellas across the country trying their hands on legitimate doings, petty traders and those doing the country proud both in sport and entertainment.





And to our oppressors, enemies of the Nation, past and present looters, election riggers, economy saboteurs, sponsors of chaos and violence, I say to them all with the hard labour and sacrifices of our heroes past to which they vowed that its not going be in vain and which they've betrayed and dumped into pit, May they never know peace.

Our government should against it practice of finding and trading blames on the current state of our country, the reality is that there are hunger and abject poverty in the Land, Unemployment is at an all-time high, Leah Sharibu is still with Boko Haram, The government should buckle up and own-up to responsibilities.

NLC and Minimum wage, I believe raising the minimum wage from 18,000 to 56,000 is not sustainable and obviously not the solution to our plural sufferings of the Civil Servants and Nigerians at large, our government should get creative and make life meaningful, less stressful and reduce our poverty level as a Nation.
